Whos lorde?
A lizard.

in retrospect, RAM was really cool, just not what people expected
Pretty much.

By the end all I wanted was for the song to change tune atleast a little bit. And no, I'm not trying to be "edgy", I just really believe that Daft Punk makes nothing but short loops.
if you skip around the song a bit and listen you can hear that the song actually does change

This is very true

"how some one direction aren't nominated for grammies but loving robots (aka daft punk) are"

HRGGGGG
I love you.
Have you listened to Music Has a Right To Children? Utterly amazing album.
I have all their albums except the ones that hasn't been leaked on the internet. My favorite song from them is Roygbiv, followed by Alpha and Omega.

Daft Punk deserves every bit of it

And forget anyone who says RAM sucked
So forget music critics and long time Daft Punk fans?

but the helmets are just a gimmick
yeah, and it's their gimmick. it's been that way for years, why would you be appalled that they are still doing it?

listen to giorgio by moroder. that's a song that changes dynamically...

Are a few generic looping tracks a good deviation? Daft Punk was good, but I can't see why people value their newest album over generic things.
It just clicked with me pretty well. Admittedly I didn't like it at first (I didn't expect such a change from their normal work) but I like having it on the background now.

Oh well. Opinions, man. I think what says the most about their album is that you never hear anything but Get Lucky on the radio; the rest isn't really fit for popular variety stations or whatever.

I thought the Grammy's were pretty awful yesterday, it's also the first full one I watched. I found what Beyonce and JayZ did in the beginning was just repulsive. It was just shameful. Beyonce looked like a hooker.

Wasnt she a hooker in the first place or is that just me and wishful thinking

i have to commend daft punk for making a cool song only using 3 words a pilot's recording

because it gets old

Yeah.. In a range of about 3 octaves maybe...
