I'd say that you're forgetting to factor in a few things while calling it terrible
A. size
B. cost
C. ducks

and really, a good computer doesn't need a really good CPU, GPU, and all that, depending on what it's task is
engineering computers require more processing and less graphics, while gaming requires more graphics and less processing
and a server really doesn't need much for graphics either, if any at all

You have a point, but the price/performance ratio is much better than that. The laptop is decent and good for the price. It's a good cheap laptop.

also, your brown townogy was bad, because of the mileage part. a less expensive computer is not going to cost you more as you use it. however, buying an otherwise normal car that only reaches 50mph for $100 is an incredible deal

Its pretty damn good for the price. It could probably run Brutal Doom at HQ1 or something. Its not like there are many triple A games to play that are actually good nowadays.
