Something sad just occurred to me
morningstar:
I just applied for admin on Mr. Queeba's thing because why not. Then I was like "Nobody is going to recommend me because I've never been admin on a serious server."
I have been playing since 2009 and I haven't made any friends who are taken seriously. I haven't made any add-ons or builds or done anything foolish to make myself famous.
After five years of Blockland, I have had no impact whatsoever on the way people think of me.
Does anybody else have this problem?
Greek2me:
I've always thought you were a pretty respectable player.
morningstar:
I was about to thank you when I realized how attention-hoary this whole topic sounds.
I mean holy crap.

After nearly seven years I'm in the same boat, however the whole bolded is essentially the reason why. Now I'm not going to complain about e-peen popularity because I'm indifferent to the subject, however just sticking around for a long time isnt a reason why people become popular. Being a huge contributor to the community is, (or being a massive butt lol cheese20)
Kniaz:
Through all of the big servers I've hosted, every roleplay and project, I've always had it in the back of my mind that it's better to be humbly respected, than immensely popular.
