Something sad just occurred to me

I get what you mean. I don't keep in touch with many people on here, and I don't try to. This forum matters very little, although it's fun sometimes and it's nice to talk to you guys.

Blake1:

Honestly, I've thought you to be a respectable player, though I don't see you often, except on the forums.

This is exactly how I felt when applying for Pecon7's (and I still feel that way a bit). I focused so much on hosting I didn't have practically any experience other than my own server.

I pretty much quit for two years and came back in the spring a couple springs ago. First thing I did was host a freebuild server and met a guy called Noobinator. Him and I built stuff together there and became good friends. He's now known as Whirlwind. About a month later I hosted a CityRPG and met The Brighter Dark there. He built a cool condo building there and was generally a nice respectable guy. He eventually earned admin there and we hang out pretty much every day. The key to making friends is to host servers or go to servers and just take part in activities such as building with people.

I thought you were an admin on my server?

McZealot:

I'd like to think I'm known for more than completely negative reasons. I manage a pretty active clan and I've lead some pretty popular projects.
Here's the list from the SlaveCo topic, don't say I'm advertising my server-- all of this stuff is old and has been shut down.

I'm not really admin anywhere big. I used to be an administrator on Xalos's Civilization server, which is probably the biggest role I've had.
I really stick to my own server most of the time. I enjoy creating more than playing in this game.
http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=250334.0 - also this topic gives me a massive ego boost

I feel part of a group in this game more than any other. Even excluding community-wide reputation/fame, the SlaveCo guys are really fun to be around, and this is the only game I had ever made friends over. Almost 100% of my Steam friends are from Blockland.

I would say my friends are fairly well know. My best friends are:
Cakey (My best and oldest friend. We met a long time ago when he joined my server and helped me build a castle, under the username LegitCake.)
Eepos (even though we've defriended eachother like 20 times)
Coburn (I friended him to get a private add-on and we ended up friends.)
Renekar (I don't even remember.)
Revoloarx (Cakey introduced me)
RedOctober2009 (Helped me build on Hunger Games)
Archimededs (Helped me build on Halloweenfest.)
Hodot (yeah I know)
Carbon Zypher (met him recently, but we've talked alot.)
Frontrox (We aren't really close, but I've known him a long time and he's a really friendly guy. Though he is, yaknow, a furry.)
Maxwell (One of Cakey's best friends. I meet him a lot.)

oh man i droned on way longer than intended there, sorry lol
