You do realize that Sweden has sizeable portions of Capitalistic and Communistic parties, right? Democratic system, and socialistic economics.

Regardless, this does not necessarily mean a partnership, though we do wish it. However, as an embassy exists, it allows for better communications and a more methodical movement of civilians.

How does the democratic Vietnamese regime request an alliance with Communist China, with prediction that their Communist political rivals would take over make any more sense?

Okay, I think you're mistaken. I am rping as the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Right now, we only exist in name and soldiers. We do not control the land. We can have alliances.

Meanwhile, France established the State of Vietnam under Bảo Đại. I am not rping as the State of Vietnam.

Therefore, I am communist.
