Is this server 100% functional? Is it dedi? Is it working even without RTB?

I promised myself not to even look at it until I have watched Catching Fire.
Doing that sometimes this week.

Not evented either, was thinking a gamemode. Anyways, is this evented or a gamemode?

... obviously it isn't 100% functional. That's why the server name has "ALPHA" in it.

It has no correlation to the movies/books other than the arena events. There are no spoilers and you don't need any background lore to play.

By functional I meant working like Hunger Games should. I know that is vague but you should be able to understand.

It's a scripted gamemode. If you want to see if it's quality just join the server. We're hosting now.

Yeah, the long fights are a little annoying, but they aren't 5 minutes unless someone is running. You can kill someone in 30 seconds to 2 minutes or so, depending on how armed you both are.

There's no better solution, Heed_Medieval is the next best alternative and it's awful. We don't only have duel weapons though. We have some customly made things.

Complain elsewhere, or look at it differently.
If the games were short, dying would be no big deal. There's no fun.
But knowing if you die you will be waiting a long time, it gives incentive NOT to die. Aka not do stupid things and ruin it for others.
The same concept works with Super Murder Mystery.

You were the one that mentioned dying.

And don't argue the fact that the reason you complained is because it's alpha. You said it as a complaint instead of giving explanations and suggestions.

I'm sorry if I don't understand, but how is stating the fact that you were complaining, putting words into your mouth? Please elaborate.
