badspot needs to take over the mod hosting/management stuff for blockland. if its true what he was saying about needing to control the flow of content, so mods can be found. the future of blockland does kind of depend on a mod management of some type. rtb was reliable as forget, but in the end it was still a private user using his own time and money and generosity. that dosnt promise a lifetime of support for a game that will depend on the user created content to get and hold users. so its a new era with rtb heading out. but i dont think more of the same is the best idea. we shouldnt just copy the old plan over and over. |

I only released an edited version of RTB without any of its online features (no IRC!). Port's is the same as mine except that it includes the old RTB 3.5 IRC client. Also, I probably won't use whatever new chat/IRC system comes up. |
