Oh Night Fox, so selfless of you to sacrifice your own life for human advancement. I couldn't do that, 1950 would suck to live in. Not to mention that they'd probably be unable to even study the tech you brought back seeing as they don't have any of the required equipment to deal with electronics.
we'd be stuck there? I wouldn't go to any time in the past if I wouldn't be able to come back
but it's not like I'm only gonna take the end results like computers. I'd take the machines we use to make all the stuff too, information about how it all works, etc. plus other knowledge about less obviously practical things
realistically I don't know how I'd get all the stuff to take, or even how I'd manage to take it all, but I'm certain that if I had access to a time machine I would be able to figure out a way
still tho if I can't come back then forget about it. like weaver said I could take some modern computers to the fifties and sell them for a lot of money, but then what would I do with the money? I don't want anything from the fifties
in fact my entire reason for it is pretty selfish in general, I don't wanna do it for the sake of humanity, I wanna do it so that I can have the cool stuff we'll invent
