You can't mount an image or bot and view from said image or bot?

Shouldn't it be possible through some kind of weapon, that when hit with a projectile/raycast, mounts an image or bot to the player's head, with some kind of joint/bone/what-have-you on it.  Using that, could a link be made using a modification of the ironsights mod?

I know he's asking for an event, but is it possible through a tool, using this method?

Greek2me even tried first person spectating view, it doesn't work well.
