Author Topic: Warlords — [Term 22] — Age of Enlightenment. (Flags, Mottos, Anthems)  (Read 9081 times)

Warlords is started, and every term starts at midnight GMT 0.

Dolckrow wishes to build food storage buildings.  Rolled 2, 90% (A-) productivity with 4 industriousness.  Project will be done in one term.

Dolckrow also wishes to heighten education by 2 points, to be added next term, and sends scouts to investigate adjacent tiles, returning in (roll: 1-6, 6 being fast, 1 being slow) 1 term.  (Rolled 5)

The Eltringham Armies would like to tear down their camp and search for the nearest village!

Since it is not wartime, Robolqian tribes begin crops and hunts.

So I decided to make a map because things were a little confusing:

Legend:
Light Green/Eyerape Green - Eltringham Armies
Pink - Fitzea
Dark Green - Dolckrow
Red - Robolquia
Holy crapoli this is a big map. Can I edit it as time passes? Also, you guys can change your colors if you want.

Fitzean men begin hunting and harvesting food in adjacent tiles. After the harvest, they plan on erecting a silo to store all of the food in.

I want green!  I want it now!

Thanks, and I wanted the color green so thanks!  If you can do mapping, I would be very glad.

Green is all the farmland, and only one is Dolckrow Common.

Also, Zan, if you can make numbers along the sides, that would be fantastic.

I'll prepare a movement map.

Note, Zanaran, Robolqia started at (0, 0).  The other one is Eltringham Armies.  Fix the colors.  You can also do .

Colors don't match up with the legend.

For now this is the mobility map.  Red is 0, Orange is 1, Yellow is 2, Green is 3.  You can move once a term as far as societies go, but you lose 10% productivity for every advancement.  For instance, moving one space reduces, 10%, 2 spaces, 20%, 3 spaces, 30%, etc.  Resting (not moving) for a term will replenish this.

All who wish to move, say the cell number to which you want to move and I'll incorporate that into the OP information.  Since Zanaran2 is independent of the OP, he will update when he can.  I apologize that I can not edit it myself, for my computer is broken.

Added each nation's projects to the OPN.

Np = Name of the project.
T = Terms for completion.
Pi = Initial percent.  (Productivity rating)
± = Adding or subtracting.  Most projects will reduce productivity, though some may boost it.
n = Percentage increase or decrease to productivity for the duration of the term.
= Yields
Pf = Final percent.  (New productivity rating.)

Np (T:Po ± n → Pf)

In laymen's terms this says a bit about how you use your resources and what you are doing, and of what your nation is capable.

do the thing

do the thing

They don't know where the next village is.  They can only see… rolling for visibility*:  2 tiles.  To what coord would you like to go?

*You could be on a mountaintop or in a canyon at whatever point you stop.

So is this a super complicated nation roleplay?

Sorta.  I'm using numbers to stress that nations have limits.  Over time, these limits increase, allowing growth.  With whatever nation you are, you can expand in some areas, but not others.  Rolls dictate chance, with stats that help make success more or less likely.  Going for fairness here.

A large difference is that you start with one city, and expand to more when conditions are right.
