The majority of ISPs provide infinite bandwidth. The main things that matter are your endpoint speeds (taking into account ISP speed limits, network card, router, neighborhood, etc.) and your CPU (multiple cores are useless for Blockland, it's only the GHz).

I agree, it's bad for popular servers. Many people are going to be in dire need of a hosting service soon, and hopefully someone will create one which is efficient enough.

Since RTB will close... will we have Steam Workshop integration? Optional, as some people dont like it

Badspot said he would "have to make workshop a go" or something to that effect.
At least Pecon7's server is going to be up, they are going to pay for a vps.
