He probably had the ability to do what Badspot can do in terms of moderation.

Yes, that does mean anyone can do the job. The only requirement to being a moderator is being someone who won't abuse their power.

Regardless, my point wasn't that anyone can do the job. My point was that Badspot isn't going to pick the most qualified person for the job.

Yes, I stand by that. It is a job really anyone can do. Everybody is capable of not abusing power, and my entire point was that Badspot would pick someone close to him. When Ephialtes said he'd cover for Badspot, he replied "Aren't you abusive?" to which Ephialtes replied "not really" and got the job. Again, you don't understand Badspot's attitude.
