I hate to be the one to say it, but i wish this would happen, and frankly, i honestly think it will. Maps were a great thing and almost 90% of the blockland community outraged when badspot removed maps, after all, there what made blockland actually unique from games like Roblox, Minecraft, ect. I mean, can't the custom game-mode have a map choice with a "Modular Terrain" choice as a map? I mean, the whole reason that blockland is as it is now, is because of how much people liked the original version of it, you can read about that at badspot.us, but if the only reason this game developed (this far at least) is because of community response, wouldn't it stand to reason that you would again go with the community response and return maps? Heh, yeah yeah, "He needed to sacrifice maps to make room for shaders, you can't have both." If i had a nickle for every time i saw a 'forget shaders i want maps!' topic i would be stuffting gold. "There's almost no chance that he will bring back maps" That's because (with all due respect) i think badspot lost the spirit that he had when he first started work on blockland. Like i said he only continued with blockland because of the extremely positive response. And now basically almost the entire community of 90k+ people is telling badspot to bring back the maps and he's just ignoring it. Yes, this is HIS game and no one else's, he made it and is supreme overlord of everything having to do with it. But to be fair, not only would bringing back maps make everyone happy, (have one special map that is basically the terrain that we have now, shaders and all, and normal maps be same as they always were) but then they would go and suggest blockland to there friends more because the game is just flat out better with maps, and badspot has a bigger chance of making more money. Have the normal maps, with the one that supports shaders, have game-modes support maps as well, port the old default maps, and everyone will be happy, slightly more income, and no more loving "BRING BACK THE MAPS" "how do i start a map??/?" "Where did maps go?" "Bringing back Interiors? " Where although i do support them 110%, they get loving annoying.
Sorry if i was a bit repetitive, but i'm just trying to get my point across, sorry if i offended badspot in some way, i don't mean it like that, if anyone has a link to that v19 version of blockland please post it below i think i may use that until something like this happens
