--- Quote from: Bisjac on February 17, 2014, 01:48:32 AM ---the need for maps on a fps are not even slightly comparable to blockland, a sandbox building game. --- End quote --- Maps for Blockland can serve an equal use, for a sandbox game. Maps were basically just giant builds that didn't effect brick count. A large number or people loved maps (and still do), and now we have shaders that look awful and don't run for stuff on the toasters that most of the community uses. And thanks to the removal of maps we got in return a useless vehicle system while also destroying several great servers. --- Quote from: ABlockOfCheese on February 17, 2014, 01:52:52 AM ---If you think any of those games, apart from the camera and movement system, are in any way related to Blockland then you are highly mistaken. --- End quote --- I am simply saying that maps are core features of every style of game, those are just the games that came to the top of my head. |

Adventuring the Bedroom and trying to figure out why my game had extreme fog (it was the view distance). Good times, especially better ones during Ski Resorts on the Slopes. |
