the sten is, historically, one of the most unreliable, dangerous, and badly put together guns. ever. the british really had no loving clue what they were doing with it, and it was actually cheaper to continually send out replacement parts for the inevitable breakage of the current models, AS the models were being shipped out, because they knew their stuff would break very quickly. |
