could use a lot more work

but since you want to keep it simple, its ok.

Just make the roof a little lower or change the color

No triangle roofs, those are usually awful.
And put some kind of roof on top of that bay window.

Notice how the brickwork of the house goes all the way to the eve of the real roof, and also how there is overhang, which many, many, many people forget to do from some reason.

try using upside down ramps on the other side so it's not so blocky

wouldn't work on that particular roof because the middle is just 1 brick length, and trying to amend it by filling that in wouldn't look good
and really it's kinda depending on the build. sometimes it looks better or worse when that is included.
