Blockland Football Test Game - Official League Thread Coming Soon

I'm holding that long awaited test game for my football league to see if I want to do it.

Instead of the 2 teams, this'll be Red vs Blue, I'll need 6 players to sign up (3 on each team). If you'd like to play tonight, fill out the application below. Teams full.

Red Team:
Ravencroft (10130), Kickflow (27944), and Pablo (9858) [Sub: Kingston (13924)]
Blue Team:
Ethan The Great, WALDO (13063), and Cca (4669) [Sub: Sanctus Rem (20406)]


Rules/Gameplay:
Kickoffs:
Each team lines up in their endzones.
The kicker throws the ball to the other team.
Other team catches and runs or stays for touchback.
Ball goes out of bounds = touchback.

Clock:
Each quarter is 5 minutes (may change depending on how well gameplay works)
The clock only stops if the ball goes out of bounds, or after a score.
The clock will also stop during reviews and challenges.

1st Downs:
To gain a new set of downs, make it into opponent territory.

Blitz:
One blitz is allowed per new set of downs.
Only 1 blitzer allowed.

Snapping the ball:
One player snaps the ball (right click) to the QB, then runs to try to catch it.

Run plays:
The snapper snaps it to the QB who runs it or
snaps it to the other player, who runs it.

Field Goals:
Field Goals can only be made in the opponents territory.
The kicker must not be past the 50 yd line.
Blitzs are allowed, even if you've already blitzed.
2 blitzers allowed.
If successful, you gain 3 points.

Touchdowns:
Make a pass or run into the endzone, it's a touchdown.
You gain 6 points if successful.

Extra Points:
After a touchdown, you can do the extra point
or 2 point coversion.

-Extra Point:
Line up at the 2 and kick a field goal.
2 blitzers allowed.

-2pt Conversion:
Line up at the 2 to try to get the ball into the
end zone. If successful, you gain 2 points.

Fumbles:
Not allowed, the ball flies away from the player
once the player is tackled.

Interceptions:
Allowed, defense must catch the ball thrown by the offense.

Timeouts:
Each team gets 3 timeouts per half. Each timeout lasts one minute and stops the clock.
(30 second timeouts also allowed)

Challenges:


The game will most likely be tonight at around 8pm Eastern, on my server. If I can't make it, we'll do it tomorrow night.

I have a question, so there is no way of having lineman? (Assuming 3 on each time as stated in OP, 1 player is QB, 2 others are out in the field attempting to catch) doesn't that mean the Quarterback is open to get blitzed? I mean it will work, the Quarterback has to be really quick. Or you might have already thought this over, and maybe have a 3-4 second safe time for the quarterback, so he can't be blitzed within those seconds.

Yes, you have the snapper, QB, and some other guy with whatever you want to do with him. You can always change this roster.
