| why aren't saves barely posted on gallery? |

Well, the host probably doesn't want to go through the trouble of listing ALL the add-ons the build uses, and if they release something used for their server, it could damage their traffic. I feel like Badspot should have a default builds contest, where he adds in the best default builds he can get. Sylvannor's Seattle and Uptopia City, and Collab City, would be really good. Not only would they be massive, allowing new users to get into the game and play around some, they would also introduce new users into modern styles of building. All the default saves look like they were made with legos, modern builds can be so much more advanced. |

If I spend a month working on something, I want people to see it and enjoy it. I'll never know how many people have really seen it if some other host takes all my traffic, not to mention, I could be using it at it's full potential, while other hosts might not fully understand it. |

I don't care if people host Halloweenfest now, I've even release the save, but at the time, I wouldn't want my server used by others. I want my server popular so that I can build my server's name and gain a reputation as a quality place, so that if I host something else that isn't quite as well advertised it would get players. Why would I make servers without any reward? The only reward you WILL get is attention. No, it's not fair. It's a mechanic to stroke my ego. |
