Author Topic: Annual reminder on how Bethesda forgeted up Fallout aka Fallout 3 tl;dr  (Read 6448 times)

I have no respect for proud idiots nor proud starfishs or any combination of the two. I don't see how that makes me unlikeable.

I don't recall showing any pride- But neither do I, exactly why I made that statement.

You admitted to being both an starfish and a fool and not changing that. Sounds like pride to me.

Neither do you- what exactly? I don't understand you there.

jesus goddamn christ both of you look at yourselves
what the stuff are you even arguing about anymore, does it even loving matter?

Yeah, kinda pathetic on my part.

I've made my point. I'm going to do something productive with my time now. Like writing a campaign world or jacking off or whatnot.

You admitted to being both an starfish and a fool and not changing that. Sounds like pride to me. I apologize, but it must have been a miscommunication-- But I take no pride in being a starfish, and anyone who takes pride in being a fool certainly deserves the label. However, I've been labeled such, so that makes me both an starfish and fool, correct?

By this point was I even arguing? I do recall trying to put an end to this, to only be insulted once more immediately afterwards. But by this point in time I don't see this as arguing rather than dragging something out that needn't be.

On a more on-topic note than the fight of the starfishs, Fallout New Vegas was pretty fun.

Fallout 3 was an awesome game.

Fallout 3 is basically a spin-off. Fallout New Vegas takes after Fallout 2's storyline so New Vegas is the true sequel.

I thought it was funny bethesda was saying how everyone wanted a sequel a true sequel and then we get fallout 3. A game that had nothing to do with the original 2 games besides very little references. I already know Fallout 4 is going to be terrible since Obsidian is not working on it.

That is unless we're given some god send and they actually begin to know what they're doing.

You saw Skyrim, right? stuff poor dragon AI which makes me think they are going to put unscripted behemoth AI in this next game. Not to mention Skyrim has very, very, VERY, VERY, VERY few RPG elements so Skyrim is not even classified as an RPG. It's a loving action adventure basically because they had to water it down for casuals. And there is still NPCs that can't be killed and yet just turn unconscious.

loving New Vegas at least allowed the player to kill every single person. A person killed had a negative outcome towards it and there were no such things as an unconscious NPC except for companions. BETHESDA IS LAZY! Instead of making you fail the quest or forcing you to take an alternate quest route they just flag the NPC as unconscious so they don't have to make an alternate quest storyline. This is the basis of a very badly planned RPG. Killing some important character in a quest should have a negative consequence making the quest harder or impossible to achieve. If you don't like that then don't kill the NPC. There shouldn't have to be a handicapped system telling you to not kill someone because you're loving handicapped and you just want his hat.

Pretty much why I stopped playing Skyrim.. That and I prefer my dragons to be big so they actually look intimidating.

tbh i found skyrims combat extremely dull and boring

i love fallout 3
maybe because i mostly played it when i was 10-11
even though i could agree with probably most of zombiloin's critcisms about its gameplay and stuffty animations in the end it's just really fun altogether

What makes you like bethesda? It seems the older kids only seem to realize the huge terrible flaws about their games.
