Generally, the people who still play QuakeWorld and QuakeLive are people who actually know how to play the game, so getting into either of them is hard.

ive met several tf2 players and they are some of the smartest guys in my school
meanwhile ive met throngs of cod players and they are some of the dumbest guys in my school

everyone is saying that the battlefield community is bad, what's bad about it?  generally the people are nice and willing to work as a team, unlike CoD where it's every man for himself.

I've never had a bad experience with the TF2 playerbase

this, apart from a time when i was playing 1 on 1 with a friend and he camped outside my base as a heavy.

One of my friends plays Battlefield, and he likes to drive quadbikes off of buildings and try new things while also helping out his team members.
Whereas my other 'friend', who plays the calling of duties, gets pissed off so bad if he gets 'killed too much' while trying to trickshot and quickscope or whatever in free-for-all. Like, 'bash-your-controller-on-your-leg-until-it-bruises-and-scream' kind of mad

I've played both a little, and I can confirm that I haven't been screamed at by five 8 year olds at once in a Battlefield game.. yet.
