Author Topic: The worst injuries you've expirienced.  (Read 2468 times)

Fractured my elbow when I tripped over a ball, and I stepped on a nail that went pretty deep into my foot once. I also had a flowerpot full of dirt fall on my nose (this is an interesting story).

I've never had a really bad injury. I've needed stitches a few times but nothing worse than that. The grossest one was probably when I was at a waterfall and slipped. I had a 3 inch wide by 1 inch deep cut in my knee. I didn't know it happened until I stood up and saw my knee. What made it even worse was I had to scale a small cliff to get out.

apparently broke my toe but didnt realize it until it was healed

Story time!

I broke my left arm (writing hand) when I was 6. I was playing on one of those exercise bike machines, and fell on the concrete floor on my arm. I was being babysit by my aunt at her house and she didn't know what the forget to do. So, I was in a bed in my aunt's house for an hour suffering with this broken arm, and the aunt didn't call 911. Hell, I don't even know if she called my mom when it happened.

When I got to the hospital, I got what i believe is a metal plate put into my elbow.

My arm was in a cast for around 3 months after the incident. I still have that plate in my elbow to this day, along with a little scar.

The only really bad thing about this is that whenever I bump my elbow on something, it hurts like HELL. It's not a good feeling.

im too tough to get injured.

prolly... when i cut the very tip of my finger off with scissors on accident.

I was running downstairs and did a flip in midair because i tripped or something and fell and both of my knees and elbows were bleeding badly, I was in 1st grade of elementary school :(

Ran alongside a wooden railing, had my hand on it. A curved spike of wood was present on the edge where a knot in the wood had fallen out. Skewered into the gap between thumb and forefinger on left hand.
No visit to A&E, still have a scar.
Daaaaaaaaaang

When I was little I was running around in a library and ran head to head with my cousin. Both sides of my nose were pouring blood and I tore the skin connecting my top lip to my gums. I believe I went to the ER

uhhh...
I haven't broken a single bone in me...
I sprained my ankle, does that count?

but i have cut myself way more than any other type of injury.

i slit my thumb open to the bone with an exacto knife when i was 8.
i cut the tip of my finger off when i was 14
a slit my palm open while cutting the top of a pumpkin off
a stabbed myself with a really small pocket knife when i was 10
and i stepped on an upright nail when i was 6. damn nail when all the way in and wouldnt loving come out.

i can recall everything
4 years old
flying down the loving stairs after sliding down a punching bag
bang head on wall
begin bleeding on a 5 inch opening
all i remember after that is that i was being held in my family's car and we were racing to the hospital at like 90
i get stitches
it hurts so bad
i have a scar still from that day.

no. Just no. A centimeter is slightly less than half an inch. That's not just just a little.

is it true that every time you stub your pinky toe, it's considered broken?
