If programmable blocks ever become a thing I am instantly buying this. C# is my main language bro :)

Buy it anyways? Great game even now in early access.

They said the programming will be easy to use and easy to pick up on, so I don't think it would be in any actual code language.

I think they're gonna release programming blocks at a later date, and just make it easier for coders to edit in-game for now.

Today's update is later than usual. Since its the new programming block I'm guessing theres some launch problems or bugs, but I only hope it comes out today.

They did but the update just came out and its not in there. Only Modding API and other stuff; give me a moment to post the update.

Darth Biomech's stuff is the best, glad his roosterpit made it ingame

Fighter roosterpit mod was made default (I thought it would somehow). Modding API is now ingame. We can now search for items in inventory, and other stuff

Summary
The Modding API has been implemented into Space Engineers. It brings a lot of new possibilities to our modders and it allows them to alter the game by writing C# scripts which have access to in-game objects! Reloadable missile launcher for small ships is also added - with the option to use the conveyor system.

Additionally in this update, we have included the Fighter roosterpit model that was created by the modder “Darth Biomech”. This is the first modded model that makes it into the official version of the game. By doing this, we want to reward and encourage all modders for their good work and efforts. It’s not possible to add all mods which are created, because we need to keep the game simple and organized, but we can ensure that more mods will be added in the future.
