To those that are strong followers of sharia and Mohammad, those honor killings and executions are just part their customs. They don't see it as murder, to them they are enforcing gods will. Do you follow? People see things and do things differently, and what they see as normal differs from the other person.

In our culture if someone got murdered, we either imprison the killer or execute to prevent him from killing more people. In more primitive culture, if someone from your tribe got murdered. You punish the killer for violating customs and as a form of retribution for the victim.
