I wonder how long it will take for the MLP wave to die (not being facetious btw). Its been around for such a long time.

I would assume most of the fandom will have moved on within a few years after the source material is discontinued or being milked to the death. The remaining diehards will sort of fade to obscurity. Just like Trekkies and Brown Coats.
