Einbuchtung holds a major vote in the capitol (Baltimore) for the admittance of Virginia into the Amerikanische state, not surprisingly the majority of voters from Virginia vote yes, so the (remaining) part of non-union Virginia is conjoined
Delaware is being debated as a possible control but as a puppet (aka i might give it away to someone who cant think up of there own ideas, or it can be a type of NPC) though the debates seem to be getting close to nowhere.
The trade embargo of 1916

The conditions of the central powers are at an all time low, war being waged, the German national government on its toes, a Sargent leaves the military and begins one of the biggest German revolutions in history, his name is Adolf Riddler, aged 35 years old. he and the NSDAP revolutionaries beat the communists by a landslide, and national socialism is installed in the German government and the third Reich is declared, Riddler being declared the head of state at the moment due to his small inexperience with government, aka he is deemed to run the state better then the government, the swastika is raised over a war-torn Germany. Einbuchtung, however, does not appreciate a regime like this, declaring "the Einbuchtung government is run totally different from the national socialists in Germany, we are a monarchy but we are also democratic, we want only one leader to run the government but we don't tolerate oppression and we are a free nation with courageous and free Germans and Americans, that is why, we Einbuchtung declare an trade embargo on Germany, we will not be making business with men bearing a swastika, who oppress there people in ways the strongest men fear, to all Germans, leave Germany, leave while you still can, even the national socialists have fear."

news reporters from other states are at the capitol when this speech is made, it is transmitted to radio, and newspaper, Einbuchtung declares open borders (to legal immagrators) and the national flag is changed :
Einbuchtung hopes to increase relations with other states, in (hopefully) Re-uniting the USA, but in separate states all allied (something similar to the EU) in hopes of (maybe) being able to associated by other nations globally (not wars, but trades), however this plan is expected to take a long time and the type of alliance hasn't been discussed in the government yet.
so yea, the game hasnt changed yet, but it will at one point (if op is fine with it)
