What I'm hoping to be able to do is have spectator rooms and hallways around the track. I'll include a picture of what the finished track will hopefully look like in a second, but ultimately I want to avoid the use of camera events.
not-so-mini-minimap

I've kinda run into a wall with my events, non-admins can't seem to use zone events. If anyone knows how to fix this, my help topic is here.
