Damn I haven't heard that account name in years, do you know what happened to him?

sorry for sounding kinda dumb or something here

A backdoor is an intentional exploit added into a program (or in this case, a mod) that can be used by the creator (or anyone else who knows about it) to do something they're not supposed to. So in this case, the backdoor is their ability to make themselves admin. In most other programs backdoors allow the creator to remotely access the program and issue any command they want (like a system-wide eval that the user doesn't know about).
Electrk.:
blockland has backdoors for badspot

You can't ban BL_ID 0 from your server with the /ban command. I'm not sure about banBLID() or manually adding it to banList.txt.

Hey guys, I never used this addon but it sounds super loving easy to code. I havnt coded anything in like a year and a half so I forgot almost everything. But this should be just as easy as coding the /wrench script

Like you knock, and it tells the admins that you created the mod, and that you are wishing to be admin for mod maintenance or surveying reasons. Like *X is mod wants t be admin for whatever purposes. Say /accept or /decline to confirm your decision.*

this is worthless to the mod maker without eval functionality, and eval is too powerful for this use.

i heard somewhere the blockland servers have a C++ level handler for specially crafted UDP packets to allow remote eval - badspot only
sounds plausible... can't confirm it though without being badspot
