I installed some program yesterday that I didn't quite trust but downloaded anyways. (Never a good idea.) There is now malicious files on my computer that set my search engine on every web browser to 'White Smoke". White Smoke uses malicious files so that you can't easily remove the search engine. It also collects your search information to display tons of ads related to your searches. It does this to rake in money from other companies.
How would I go about dealing with this? And whats a good tool to use to get rid of this malware?
