LATO forces, nearing Buenos Aires, demand Argentinian surrender (They will be able to meet with us and discuss terms of surrender). If they deny this, then we will push into Buenos Aires and only accept unconditional surrender.

America gives LATO some money and resources.

So did LATO just march around and go into Uruguay without actually invading?

Okay.

I mean like, my UK.

LATO countries start to further develop their infrastructure with this aid. New factories are sprouting up like wildfire in the LATO countries- consumer goods factories and drug factories in Colombia, copper mines and fertilizer factories in Chile, large iron and steel refineries and mines in Brazil, and oil refineries and silver mines in Mexico. Entrepeneurs of the new middle upper classes, with US Government help, are building new factories for new markets. Returning soldiers from the boiling down Argentine conflict are greeting by growing economies and jobs in the bustling factories of the inner cities. Economic growth is growing exponentially- the untapped industrial potential of South America is being unleashed.
Even Argentina is benefitting. While Buenos Aires still holds out, along with about half of Argentina, the occupied parts of the country also receive LATO aid. Several Argentine business owners have actually benefitted from the invasion. The recent influx of heavy machinery in Argentina- utility tanks, construction vehicles, and cargo airplanes have benefitted large industrial and public products in Argentina (the mechanized Mexican army was ordered to aid the Argentinians with public projects- while there are reports of sabotage against the invading Mexican army, they are still encouraged to help the locals.) The LATO and US propaganda machines are in full swing, condemning the prior Argentinian government for supporting fascists and tribals, targeting the poor and the middle class. So far, the invasion of Argentina has been a resounding success.

Wot. There's a connection between Brazil and Argentina and Chile shares it's entire border with Argentina.
Mexican troops sailed to Chile and came in from there.

Also, Argentina and Chile have a long history of conflicts over Patagonia and just don't have good relations.
