The Romanian leader is giving a major press conference to give declarations about the results of the investigation on the burning of the Parilament Palace. Suddenly, a boom streaks across the crowd, and the next moment the leader's head is blown off. A large group of people reveal concealed weaponry, quickly overwhelming the opposition and the police.
December 14th, 1943
The Revolition, as they call themselves, make a public announcement across Europe: Romania is no longer led by who it was so far. It withdraws out of the war everything, going neutral.
