so windows has this annoying thing where when i'm watching a youtube or something video, after a few seconds the volume just drops down a big amount.

i look in the mixer and Adobe Flash Player is all the way at the bottom, where all the other volumes are at the top. when i try to change it back to at least half amount, windows will just put it back down a few seconds later again

how to turn off pls

assuming you have windows 7,
uncheck the box that allows applications to control this device

do you happen to enter a skype call as the volume drops?

no?
i don't really use skype that much

i'm just watching a youtube video, like i said

It might be your mic or something
