Author Topic: Hunter RPG [SPO Project][Looking for terrainists!]  (Read 3252 times)

This looks really interesting, I will definitely check out the server once it's done!

oops I forgot to add the other part of my question

Since when are you back in SPO?
Are you going to include that part?
I'm not in SPO, I am a friend of the clan, and me and other friends of the clan are helping out. I presented the initial idea to pass and gave tips on the build and gameplay.

This server needs deer calls.
You know the little can shaped thing that makes a handicap noise when you flip it over?

What about duck calls?
Gotta call duck dynasty!

Progress on the build is great, however it would go much faster if we had more terrainists!

I can't see the server in the server list since mid-day today.

Literally just went down, Pass's mommy went ape-stuff and killed the power to his computer

This is a cool idea.

Does "Zonescape" mean that you'll intentionally be building it in the shape of a circle?

I built the circle, its 256 8x cubes in diameter, so its HUGE! You will definitely have times where you may get lost if you don't track properly. We are hand building the terrain (as you can see by the photo)
If you fall off the world, you die.

When you die, do you lose all of your stuff?

When you die, do you lose all of your stuff?
I am still deciding on this.

I think you should drop whatever non-weapon items (including ammo) upon death.

I say drop everything. It's survival. If you die in DayZ, you start over, same should apply here. Your goal is to survive the elements, and you don't get second chances in most cases.

That said, if you have a point-shop, points should remain throughout death, with maybe a small point incursion for deaths or REALLY bad forget-ups (like hitting another hunter maybe?)

ninja(was 2 slow) edit:
that hunter-kill idea could actually work as an honor system. Take for example, no admins are on for 5 hours, and one comes on. The server is in shambles, people are saying 3 people have been intentionally killing other hunters. The admin pulls up the server list, and sure as stuff, these three people's scores are well into the  negative numbers. There is no going back for them, they are royally fukt.

Ofc, this is assuming PVP is enabled

PVP is disabled.
It's going to be quite commutative, players will be able to build homes and grow weed or brew moonshine.

Also, I think we are going to have a banking system, and if you die you lose your items and money in your inventory.

who's doing the modding?

and so this isn't survival? moreso tycoon?
