Author Topic: Convince me to switch to Firefox.  (Read 543 times)

I currently use Google Chrome, but I have been wondering why people like Firefox so much. Try to convince me to switch by listing good and useful features that it has and chrome doesn't.

Features so far:
Open-source
Lightweight
Customizable
Better browsing data management

Why. If you like Chrome, why switch.

it doesnt clog up your processor as much

Firefox is open-source, so you know that your information isn't getting stolen by Google all the time.

Firefox sends the name of every website you visit to Google anonymously.

I have an old computer. I might consider switching.

i don't like it because it looks kinda ugly :(

firefox can also be customized a lot more than chrome/chromium
you can pretty much customize the ENTIRE firefox UI with CSS which is really cool :3

Depends on your gtk theme. Unless you're on windows.

Keeping your history clear while maintaining your logins and site preferences is less of a pain in the ass with Firefox.

Make it less ugly yourself. You have the power. It looks pretty okay to me by default regardless.

Google Chrome can sometimes forget up in ways for no good reason
Especially on older computers

What? I don't think that's a gtk theme. How did you make it look like that?

I have yet to have nay problems that are the program's fault. It's always just me loving something up in some config file.
