Hello!
Currently I am hosting a Greek/Roman themed themebuild.
The idea behind it isn't solely to let people build random things forever, but to get a collection of authentic-esque Greek/Roman buildings and structures and then put them together to form our own Roman city.
So far I have a couple of buildings with plans for more, but would love some people to give me company and provide some inspiration and support. The more people here the better.
For the most part going by your own inclination and ideas is good, but to get bonus points you should be looking at any reference images or text on buildings to get accurate ideas. While obviously limited by the Blockland gridbase and the inability to get perfect blueprints for such buildings it'd be great if we could have some really accurate representations of the Ancient world.
But that doesn't mean you can't be creative or consider the mystical.
So, if you're interested in building anything Greek/Roman, whether it's Temples, houses, theatres, stadiums, aqueducts or even landscapes/trees, then please do pop on down.
Anything built that does eventually get put into a town will be given full credit for, and it'd be nice to have a cool community project set in a solid theme.
Requests for helping the Server
Unfortunately I've not played Blockland in some time and am currently quite out of date with a number of resources.
That's why I would greatly benefit for any recommendations for Add-Ons to help the server and replace some of my antiquated items.
I gravely need a new colorset, having been using Yuki-tastic for over 3 years. It's a nice colorset, but it's very limited in it's Greys/Browns and it's soft colours (which are excellent for making decorated marble!).
If there are any good colorsets you can recommend they'd be greatly appreciated.
I also need some replacement files for some brick Add-Ons.
I happen to have an old copy of some Round-Brick-Corners, which include 4x4f circles and 6x6f circles, which have an awkward glitch where part of their texture is shiny and broken, as shown here.
Any packs that could replace such bricks would be very helpful.
And finally I'm also looking for any Print-Brick decals that could look like Roman/Greek Friezes/carvings, namely for a vertical 2x2f print brick. This one's a bit of a long-shot and I might be able to make some of my own, but they'd be helpful in places.

Obviously there's room to improve on this, which I want to do.
With a better colorset I can make it a lot less monotonous, and with more people around I'm likely to pick up my own pace a bit more.
The biggest thing to hopefully build will be our own Colloseum, for which I definitely think I'll need some help.
