Ok. Oddity here. Let me give my version of events:
When I did change the timescale, I called a server vote. The majority said yes. Players chose the timescale and suggested it in the first place. It was only for one round.

Have I changed the environment before? Yes. Quite often players tell me that they want to remove night or add a cycle or make it a bit brighter or whatever. In such a case, I call a vote to see if the majority wants that. If so, I change it temporarily. As for the allegations about water; I sometimes join to see that some idiot has raised it above the spawns and I lower it. I've never raised it for the sole purpose of killing people.
- Banana'ing players is abuse.
Seriously? I'm not even going to comment on this. It's idiotic. Banana'd players suffer no health nor speed increases or decreases. It's a novelty add-on. It doesn't affect the outcome of rounds.

You can't rely on people voting to make things better. More people = more conflicting ideas. An engineer should know what people need. What is a good and sustainable server. Getting people to like what they've made, not making what people would like. If the server has been up this long, and with this many consistent players, I doubt it needs the timescale increased. Especially only when one assforget is around.
If you held a vote "should everyone get MAS next round?" you might get a majority there too, but then you have to MODIFY the game to do that, just like you have in all other scenarios.
And you HAVE indeed left the water raised. Accidentally, and I cannot hold that against you. But you modified the environment, so I CAN hold it against you. If you would just leave the server the way it is, then the water wouldn't have been affected.
Hell, if you just left the server the way it is already, you wouldn't have a drama about you, you could easily be just as appreciated as Wrapperup, Pastry and the like.
