What was being suggested was not helpful.

Cassord had a specific, simple request, and the add-on Alphabite suggested did not achieve that effect. Cassord said as much. Alphabite posting the "Search" image was condescending, especially when it resulted in finding an add-on that did not do what was requested.

Then Pecon, ignoring that Cassord just said he did not need the Restrict Item add-on, posted the Restrict Item add-on, asking if it would work for him. Cassord had specifically said that it (the exact add-on, no less) was not what he was looking for.

Then, Alphabite had the pretension to correct Cassord's use of a pronoun, being again condescending by editing his quote to "fix" it to Alphabite's name. (although I can't fathom why that's important)

Cassord got too angry about it, but I can understand why.

NO. That is NOT what I need. I said it before and I'll say it again and again until you get it. I need a script/addon that prevents players from spawning items. Nothing else. Eksi actually puts it pretty well in his post.

He needs to prevent people from spawning weapons on bricks, and exactly that. Not from picking them up, or using them, but precisely spawning them on the brick. Offering anything but the prevention of spawning on the brick is unhelpful.

I also somewhat apologize for my overreaction in the thread in suggestions. I guess I got a bit too angry.
