Holy monday stuffting christ.
This is exactly how my topic went, and I totally understand why Glass is acting the way he is because this is exactly how I felt when I made an exactly the same topic.
Everyone who is going to suggest to buy a desktop, say that laptops are crap for gaming, or just generally get brown town about laptops need to temporarily die of cancer, just for this topic.
OT: My dad got a GT750 for work, And I can say right now that it is a powerful and formidable laptop. This thing has dual GPU's, and the fan is definitely not a problem (or at least judging from the insane sound it makes when on TURBO mode)
Not sure about Lenovo, but I never really saw their laptops to be particularly gaming oriented (but that's just my personal opinion). I'd go for the GT750 easily. Nice screen, nice keyboard. Solid feel aswell, and the screen is clear and sharp. Memory for us isn't a problem, 8GB installed when we got it, Windows 8.1 boots up in ~8 seconds or less, thanks t the 2 SSD's in raid holding the OS and the 2TB main hard drive (all of these internal). Sleep mode is instantaneous.
Again, I dunno if it got entrepreneur ed out the way it is because of my dad's job (he uses it for work, and trust me he needs it) but it is really quite a nice laptop. Also, switches between the Intel's GPU and the dual Nvidia GPU's seamlessly whenever there is a load. Heat was never an issue, but my dad just props it up at 50 degrees just to be safe (too safe if you ask me).
