I have a samsung something something I got a few years ago.
Honestly I'm happy to downgrade to an old nokia or something if this one breaks because I have pretty much no use for all the smart phone stuff.

Anyone have any suggestions for someone moving from iOS to Android? Also which smartphone should I get? I'm mostly just looking at the S5.

Get the Nexus 5 if you want a nice, vanilla Android experience. Samsung usually forgets Android up the ass with TouchWiz stuff that I hate

The Nexus 5 looks nice and all (reminds me of the iPhone, sleek and low profile) but doesn't the S5 have a lot better hardware specs? Camera, screen, processor?

I'm an S3 user, and can someone please explain to me how TouchWiz is "bloated", except for maybe the gestures? Personally I find the UI changes useful. Is it worse on the S4/S5 than the older models?
