60,000 men of the 42nd infantry corps along with the newly acquired tanks and howitzers begin assaulting Michigan from Ohio.
The recently fortified line holds in most areas. Battalions of mobile M7 Priests and M4A3E8 Sherman tanks are able to neutralize atleast 1/4 of the artillery, while anti-aircraft guns and fragmentation rounds are turned on the enemy. Minor breakthroughs were achieved, but were contained and surrounded by mechanized troops.
Around 3,500 New York Troopers have been killed, wounded, or captured, and 150 artillery pieces have been destroyed or disabled. ~600 Michigan troopers have been killed or wounded, while 40 tanks have been destroyed, 80 guns destroyed or captured, and several fortifications have been lost to the enemy.
