Author Topic: Things to see in Washington D.C./Virginia Beach?  (Read 479 times)

So, me and my mother were talking about what to do during our vacation, and guess what?
We're going to Washington D.C.! We're going to see the Smithsonian, which will be great too. Although..I'd like to see more than just that.

Does anyone know of some cool places to see in Washington D.C.? I want to make the trip as memorable as possible.

Also, I'd like to find some cool places just in Virginia Beach, too (where I'll be staying).

I'm mainly looking for:
Monuments/memorable places
Attractions like arcades, minigolf, etc. (fun places)
Restaurants
Public places (like museums)

Those places apply to both areas.
Anyways, let me know what's a cool place to see!

Don't forget to go to the Smithsonian aerospace museum, they had a lot of cool planes there.

don't go to the east end of D.C.

just don't

uh

Virginia beach likely has some memorial air show going on

I live really close to there so idk

ALSO THE GIANT RUBBER DUCK IS AT THE CHRYSLER MUSEUM OF ART IN NORFOLK (until the 26th) (~about 1 hour from VA Beach)

If you live in a military family, the millions of bases around Hampton Roads area (such as Oceana and Norfolk) usually have a lot of cool stuff

There are usually gun shows or knife shows in Virginia Beach at the convention center.
