Just gonna be quick and clean with this.

What are chiptunes?
Chiptunes are basically songs made with "trackers" to make it seem like it came from a old video game (GB) system or newer one (SNES). Different "trackers" are available to make the music, and they are made in different files.
.xm, .it, .mod, and a lot of other files are file extensions of some chiptune music. These are not the only ones though.

What are demos?
Demos can range from demos on old game consoles, Windows, C64, and other things. They usually have music, visuals, and take a while to make due to coding and composition of music.

What is Pouet?
Pouet is a online demoscene resource, with lots of files and collections of demos around the site. Scenes are considered groups of people who make certain things. Razor 1911, a known scene group, has made many demos, including We Have Accidently Borrowed Your Votedisk, a known and popular one. Demos can range from lots of consoles, from NES, Gamecube, even the Xbox 360.

Anyways, post stuff related demos and chiptunes, and feel free to share "prods" (posts from Pouet) you think are cool!

Here's a quick song I converted from SPC to IT. It's from Speedy Gonzales for SNES, the El Gato Battle 2.

EXE file, converted from XM-EXE so you can listen to it without needing software.
The actual IT file.
