munk's server pack has the command /talkas
Why not . . . - Uh, because it's an easily abused piece of stuff.Not very many people know how to use it now day . . - Uh huh. I mean, it's not like it gives a /help command like, say, /msp help in the welcome message, so it's perfectly fine to assume this. It helps uses know the rules - There are other mods for this. There are literally, other mods for this. I think there's about five. You don't need this piece of garbage running to give a small list of rules that can easily be done with another, less abusive mod or a simple rules room on the server.It advertises stuff . . . - Do you seriously feel a need to advertise on your server? Is it truly so important that you be able to advertise on your server that you're willing to go to lengths where people can easily abuse the system if they feel inclined to? Because I seriously doubt it's that important.
Yep.Its horrible I know . . .
One quick note on thatGet better admins
commandToServer(messageSent, clientobject, "message");
*Cough*Code: [Select]commandToServer(messageSent, clientobject, "message");*cough*
Why is there clientobject? I don't think you need that.
ServerCMDMessageSent(clientobject, "message");
I was on A_TEE's server today when a "ghost hacker " started using other peoples names to say bad things about themselves, and other people on the server. I hope badspot find a way to remove the command console so "ghost hacker" cannot do this hack. I am an admin on this server and everyone thought it was me because i was afk while this was happening. I came back to the computer now and then to see what was going on, and would occasionally say something like "whats going on?" and "who is this?". the "ghost Hacker" used my name to talk on several occasions, he gave out personal information about me, said he was me, and gave the server a bad reputation by making the host (A_TEE) insult the other players builds, there names, etc... I apologize for the previous drama about the server, I think it was the "ghost hacker" that time as well. A_TEE looked in the server console and saw that there was an IP adress that was connected to the server, but with no client, it was 68.108.95.32. I hope you can find this person, and do your best to defend from hackers!
*Cough*EDIT: Code: [Select]ServerCMDMessageSent(clientobject, "message");*cough*
