I'd rather start fresh when I get a new game. Having a stuff ton of coins (I am assuming the coins do something) right when I start the game doesn't seem very fun to me.

yeah I agree, it wouldn't be that great starting the game already having around 15000 coins piled up.

I'd rather start with all the coins I already have. I earned them, I should get to keep them.
