if you want it to be funner, sure. the tournament won't reflect people's skill levels but you guys probably dont care about that :p

to me it's just turning the game into a bland dry husk with no fun value whatsoever
instead of just having a friendly fight where you push each other out of the arena it's just worrying about unimportant crap like numbers and priority

People enjoy different things, obviously. I like playing things competitively, even though I generally suck. It really lets me feel as though I'm honing my skills and learning about the game's mechanics, which is really interesting to me.

we could maybe make the tournament a week after release date
gives time for people to train and others to get their game
my dad decided he's ordering my game tomorrow anyways and i don't know if i can get my game in time
