Super Smash Bros. For Wii U & 3DS: MEWTWO CODES GOIN OUT

Smash 4 bricked my Wii U. At this point the only hope is to send it in to Nintendo.
Now, I doubt it's happened to anyone else here, but does anyone know if this has happened to anyone else, anywhere? I did a bit of searching and couldn't find anything.
