the thing about a good fighting game is that there's always a way for you to defend and retaliate regardless of what the matchup is. you just have to get a hang of the game's mechanics, develop strategies, and apply them quickly and cleverly. mind games. more than anything, mind games. |

there's also very little rng in fighting games; it's all down to skill and familiarity. of course, sometimes luck-based attacks or mechanics can make things interesting, like mr. game and watch's dumb hammer. maybe not tripping though. tripping is dumb. on that note, did they remove tripping? |
