it's easy to punish roll spam. just stop autopiloting. THINK when you play. PREDICT where he'll roll, weave between the hitboxes. don't give me that "i dont want to treat this game as a chore" bullstuff. there are no advanced techniques, no frame trap combos or anything remotely technically challenging. once you are comfortable with controlling your character you're good. the rest is mindgames.

Its hard to punish when someone plays Mii gunner, spams his Fire Side B + Bomb B, waits until you jump over and then rolls to the other side of the fire/map and continues to spam those two moves exclusively.

Mii gunner is like the worst character in the game. Like no joke. Maybe it's a bad matchup? Play a character with lots of aerial mobility, or one who can keep control of the game very well. I'd recommend one but I'm not experienced enough to say

Literally every match I play as or against a mii fighter results in the mii fighter winning.
