ness is such a dumb character
he can hit you with the pk thunder launch or what you want to call it, and if you're not bowser pretty much anywhere above 50% and you're done
not to mention his pk fire spam like you said

protip you can shield instantly while sprinting
when you see or think pk fire is coming just shield because ness's endlag on that is huge and you can get an ez punish with a dash attack or an upsmash
alternatively grow balls of steel and side b over it

had some fancy combos goin on... pac man dint no wat hit im...
i also lost when he played ness but that's not as surprising cus i'm not so good at dealing with a decent ness player atm. need to practice a bit more with that matchup. i guess i was also playing marth instead of lucina like i thought i would since i didn't have lucina unlocked OOPS
