Oh right I forgot they were called that. This picture should serve as all the costumes for Eggman/ Robotnik as a fighter. Just replace Sonic Adventure 2/Modern Eggman with Eggman Nega (Where did I even come up with Neo?)

If there was another Sonic character, I would expect it to be Tails or Knuckles.
Or maybe if it's a clone of Sonic, Metal Sonic or Shadow.
Eggman seems like someone who would be an assist trophy or stage boss.

eggman has been in the game since 1991 and showed up all the time with crazy cool devices like wrecking balls and drills
tails only showed up as player 2 and was just sonic
