I personally launch mine from the Homebrew Channel using USB Loader GX, I've never done it any other way.

You can load it through a SD card from the level editor. Same goes with the Homebrew Channel.

I completely forgot about the level editor exploits, that's all. I don't play Brawl too often and only really needed it to mod my Wii.
